USMR UpDater Program

Periodically your USMR programs will require you to UPDATE them using our free UpDater program. For your convenience, we have created a "zipped" file for you to use with Classic Winzip (free evaluation version available through www.winzip.com). Please note: the UpDater program will find only those USMR programs which are located in the folders created by the CD's installation process (C:\Program Files\USBusiness\Basic - or Deluxe or Auditor, as appropriate).

Please CLICK HERE and select "Open" - then use Winzip to EXTRACT both files to C:\Program Files\USBusiness\UpDater (Winzip will create this folder for you once you type it into the "Extract to" field).

When you've completed extracting both files, close Winzip and use Windows Explorer (or Start, Run) to browse to your new C:\Program Files\USBusiness\UpDater folder and run Updater.exe.

NOTE: If you installed a previous version of UpDater, and find that it gives you an error message when trying to update itself, simply follow the directions shown above to extract the new UpDater files over your old files in the C:\Program Files\USBusiness\UpDater folder.

Alternative to Installing Programs from CD-ROM

In case you have any problems installing your purchased programs (EAP Analysis, MAP Auditing, or MortgageFREE) from the USMR CD-ROM, we have created a "zipped" file for you to use as an alternative with Classic Winzip (free evaluation version available through www.winzip.com).

Please CLICK HERE and select "Open" - and be patient - the file is quite large (24 mb), which could take a considerable length of time to open. Then use Winzip to EXTRACT all the files to C:\CD (Winzip will create this folder for you once you type it into the "Extract to" field).

When you've completed extracting all the files, close Winzip and use Windows Explorer (or Start, Run) to browse to your new C:\CD folder and run Setup.exe.

Once open, click on "For Reps Only" and enter your name, ID# and the authorization code provided in the letter you received with your CD-ROM. Then follow the directions shown in the letter to install the software you purchased.

To install the Debt Free USA shareware, simply run dfusetup.exe from your new C:\CD folder.

Please note: You cannot open the Program Demos from this download, only from the CD, but you can listen to the audio, and view the video and sample MortgageFREE and SuccessTEAM presentations on www.usmr.com.

Special note regarding MortgageFREE: By popular demand, we have removed the access code option from the MortgageFREE master and added the capability of creating a Homeowner CD. If you previously purchased the MortgageFREE master on CD, you can re-install MortgageFREE using the download shown above, or you can use your UpDater program to update the MFAdmin.exe file. If you choose to use UpDater, you will ALSO need to install Classic Winzip (free evaluation version available through www.winzip.com) and CLICK HERE to unzip all the other new MortgageFREE files, overwriting any old files, to C:\Program Files\USBusiness\MFAdmin. New sub-directories will be created automatically.

New Debt Free USA Shareware

If you are having problems with the Help file in your old Debt Free USA program, please CLICK HERE to download the new version. You can "Save" the file to your Desktop and run the setup from there (fastest download of 2.7mb file), OR "Open" the file and run the setup while online. The new program is designed to set up and install into a new folder (C:\Program Files\Debt Free USA), but if you wish to Install OVER your existing Debt Free USA (DFU) program so you can use your existing shortcuts, you can browse to your existing folder during the installation. Your old files will be placed into a backup folder so you won't lose your existing customer profiles. If you install to a computer where you have an previously unlocked DFU program, it will NOT require applying and paying for a new Unlock Code - but if you install to a different computer or hard drive, or if you never unlocked your original program, you will need to send us your 10 letter DFU Customer ID and purchase a new Unlock Code for $19.95.

New Readme.rtf file

Readme.rtf is the file that gives you the installation and use instructions for the Basic and Deluxe Analysis programs. This file has been updated as of 01/19/04.

Please CLICK HERE and select "Open this file from its current location."

Then use Classic Winzip (free evaluation version available through www.winzip.com) to EXTRACT the file over your old Readme.rtf file, which should be in your C drive under Program Files \ USBusiness \ Basic (or Program Files \ USBusiness \ Deluxe).

New USENROLL.DAT file

USENROLL.DAT is the file that puts the EAP Start Date and the Enrollment Due Date into your Windows EAP analysis. Effective 02/07/03 this file was updated through the year 2007.

If you have a Windows version 1.49 disk which shipped before 2/10/03 or a Deluxe CD version 1.51, please CLICK HERE and select "Open this file from its current location."

Then use Classic Winzip (free evaluation version available through www.winzip.com) to EXTRACT the file over your old USENROLL.DAT file, which should be in your C drive under Program Files \ USBusiness \ USMRLEAP (or Program Files \ USBusiness \ Deluxe).

UPDATE REQUIRED

If you have the DOS software or any Windows analysis software earlier than version 1.49, you MUST replace it with the current software. Order through our online store at www.bizworldusa.com or through your USMR Support Rep at 210-590-3920. The update is free if you previously purchased the Windows software - you pay just a $5 mailing fee plus any tax. If you have only the DOS software, you must purchase the Windows software, either in the $80 Basic or $119 Deluxe version, or if you order a MAP system (currently available at EXTREME discounts!), the Auditing Software includes all the features of the Deluxe version at no additional cost. Be sure to ask your USMR Support Rep about this option!

IMPORTANT NOTE TO WIN XP USERS

If you are running Windows XP Home or Professional, you may need to use the Windows Application Compatibility mode with USMR's analysis or auditing programs. According to Microsoft:

When you use Windows Application Compatibility mode, many of the most common issues that prohibit earlier versions of programs from working correctly are resolved. If you run a program and it does not function as expected, it is recommended that you run the program in one of the compatibility environments.

Announcing USMRLEAP!

After 3 years in development, we released the USMR Loan/Equity Analysis Program (LEAP) Windows 95+ software on 4/25/00. There are three versions of this software: basic, deluxe, and auditing.

BASIC - This version will be shipped with the marketing kit orders and contains even more features than our DOS basic software did.

DELUXE - This upgrade will handle letter writing, advanced printouts, graphics, etc. Please see the Promotions Section for details on the Deluxe version.

AUDITING - Uses the "Deluxe" software as its base, and adds an easy-to-use auditing feature for our Mortgage Auditing Program (MAP) Business Directors.

We know this Windows software was a long time coming, but once you see it and use it, we know you'll realize it was worth the wait. Thanks to you all for being so patient.

Special Notice to Representatives who are using any USMRLEAP Windows version 1.48 or earlier:

It has been brought to our attention that if your system is low on memory, your USMR client analysis files could be erased without warning.
